Terms of service

Welcome to Flashora. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Flashora website and your purchase of products from our online store.

By accessing or using our website, or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website.

1. About Flashora

Flashora operates an online store selling memory cards, USB flash drives and other digital storage products.

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, "Flashora", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the Flashora business operating this website.

"Customer", "you" and "your" refer to any person using our website or purchasing products from us.

2. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activities
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website
  • Copy, reproduce or misuse our website content without permission
  • Provide false or misleading information when placing an order

We reserve the right to refuse service or restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary.

3. Products and Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications and pricing displayed on our website are accurate.

However:

  • Product images may vary slightly from the actual product.
  • Colours may appear different depending on your device or screen.
  • Product specifications may change due to manufacturer updates.
  • Packaging or labelling may differ from images shown on the website.

We reserve the right to correct errors or update product information where necessary.

4. Product Compatibility

Customers are responsible for checking that a product is compatible with their device before purchasing.

Compatibility may depend on the device model, operating system, hardware specifications and other factors.

If you are unsure whether a memory card, USB drive or other product is compatible with your device, please contact us before placing your order.

5. Product Capacity

Storage manufacturers generally advertise storage capacity using decimal measurements.

For example, a product advertised as 128GB may display a lower available capacity when viewed on a computer or other device because operating systems and devices may calculate storage capacity differently.

Some storage capacity is also used for formatting and system functions.

This difference does not necessarily indicate that the product is defective.

6. Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change product prices at any time.

Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted and confirmed, except where permitted or required by law.

We take reasonable care to ensure pricing information is accurate. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you before processing the order.

7. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

We may cancel or refuse an order in circumstances including:

  • Product availability issues
  • Incorrect pricing or product information
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Payment issues
  • Incorrect customer information
  • Other circumstances where cancellation is reasonably necessary

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will arrange an appropriate refund.

8. Payment

Payment must be successfully received before an order can be processed and dispatched.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

We do not generally store complete credit or debit card details on our own systems.

9. Shipping and Delivery

We aim to process and dispatch orders within the timeframes stated in our Shipping Information.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on the delivery location, carrier, public holidays, weather, network disruptions and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Please ensure that your delivery address is correct when placing an order.

For more information, please refer to our Shipping Information page.

10. Returns and Refunds

Our returns and refund practices are subject to Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.

If a product is faulty, defective, not of acceptable quality, does not match its description or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may have rights to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances.

For change-of-mind returns, our applicable returns policy will apply.

Please contact us before returning a product so we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Flashora complies with applicable Australian Consumer Law requirements.

Our policies and these Terms & Conditions do not limit your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Where a product has a major failure, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund and, in some circumstances, compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Where a failure is not major, you may be entitled to have the product repaired or replaced.

Your rights depend on the specific circumstances.

12. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, incorrect or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request photographs, order details or other information to help us assess the issue.

Manufacturer warranty terms are provided by the respective manufacturer (e.g., SanDisk, Samsung, Western Digital, Seagate, Kingston) and are in addition to, not instead of, your rights under the ACL.
